Tyson Fury made a dominant return to the ring at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 11, 2026, securing a wide unanimous decision victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov.

Ending a 16-month hiatus following his 2024 losses to Oleksandr Usyk, the “Gypsy King” controlled the 12-round contest with his signature jab and superior technical footwork.

The judges’ scorecards reflected his total command of the bout, with two officials scoring it 120-108 and the third 119-109.

Immediately after the result was announced, Fury turned his attention to long-time rival Anthony Joshua, who was watching intently from ringside.

Grabbing the microphone, Fury issued a direct challenge for a “Battle of Britain,” urging Joshua to finally sign a contract for what would be one of the biggest fights in British boxing history.

Fury even went as far as to claim he has already signed his side of the agreement for a 2026 showdown and threatened to retire for good if the match does not materialise next.

Joshua’s response from the stands was composed but combative, as he initially declined to enter the ring during Fury’s celebration.

While he acknowledged that contracts would be reviewed, Joshua labelled Fury a “clout-chaser” and stated he would not be told what to do, despite admitting the fight is “more than likely” next.

Both fighters expressed interest in finalising the long-delayed mega-bout before the end of the year, potentially ending a decade of speculation.
