Eric Nyarko, a 22-year-old okada rider who had been reported missing, has reportedly been discovered murdered in Nyame Bekyere, a farming community close to Akoase in the Birim North District of the Eastern Region.
The individual, commonly referred to as “Junior,” reportedly left home for work but did not come back.
The family reportedly made several unsuccessful efforts to find him and then called his mobile phone.
An unknown person answered the call before the phone was turned off.
The suspect has been arrested after trying to sell the victim’s motorcycle for GH₵3,000 in a nearby town.
The body of the deceased has been taken to Holy Family Hospital in Nkawkaw for storage and further examination.
