Nana Akua Addo brought Lagos Fashion Week 2026 to an emotional close, shedding tears as she walked onto the runway in an all-white wedding gown for THE SEVON DEJANA BRAND’s “Out of Body” showcase.
The Ghanaian fashion influencer received a standing ovation from the audience at the Federal Palace Hotel tents after completing the finale.
It was her first major public appearance since videos showing her with facial injuries emerged online.
Addo’s appearance came weeks after she announced her separation from her husband, Harold Norman, amid public allegations of domestic violence. Her announcement was accompanied by a video of her Lagos Fashion Week walk, which she posted on Instagram.
The separation followed reports that Addo had allegedly been assaulted and hospitalised. She later petitioned the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), accusing Norman of physical, emotional and economic abuse.
Her tears at the end of the show gave the runway appearance significance beyond the fashion presentation. For many observers, the moment represented the end of a difficult period and the beginning of a new chapter in her life.
