A Ghanaian bus conductor popularly referred to as “Trotro Mate” has suggested to the teeming Ghanaian unemployed youth to engage in the business rather than learning to be a teacher.
Speaking with Akoma FM during a street interview, the young man in his early thirty’s urged any unemployed Ghanaian at home to consider bus conducting as it pays really well at the end of the day.
“When I work, I eat and do everything, and if I get 80 cedis when going home, I spend about 10 cedis, leaving me with 70 cedis. If I have a wife and kids, and I give them 20 cedis, I save 50 cedis. From Monday to Saturday, you can imagine,” he detailed benefits of the job.
He therefore encouraged everyone to join him saying;
“If you don’t have a job, I advise you: if you know how to handle money and can talk, the trotro conductor job will help you very well.“
It could be noted that, the bus conducting job which used to be limited to only males have now been taken over my females who are giving it their all as it reportedly pays good.
