Gilbalni O’Neil Ndongani Samba, 23, joined Asante Kotoko from Burkinabe club Rahimo just last week. He made 29 appearances in the 2023-24 season in the Burkina Faso Premier League.

The towering center-back who revealed that he plays like the former Real Madrid and Spain skipper Sergio Ramos has disclosed that he cant wait to play for Kotoko.

In an interview with Aaante Kotoko’s official media, the centre-back pleaded the supporters to back the team.

“I want the supporters of the club to push me so I can give my best for the team. I’m here not to joke. I’m here to achieve something big with the club so I just want the fans to push me and I will let them enjoy” he said.

Samba O’Neil is the fourth signing for the Porcupine Warriors in the current Transfer Window, joining Esmat Hassabalbagi, Yoouef Yagoub and Emmanuel Antwi.
