The 2024-25 season is less than a month to commence with many European giant clubs commencing their pre-seasons just this week.

West ham United under new manager Julien Lopetegui drew 2-2 against Hungarian side Ferencváros in their opening pre-season game.

The Spanish head coach replaced David Moyes after the Scottish’s contract expired at the end of the 2023-24 season.

Ghanaian forward Mohammed kudus has expressed his delight in Lopetegui’s attacking system.

“His [Lopetegui’s] style is how I want to play, how I want to attack as a winger and there is a lot of freedom, which allows me to do that,” Kudus told whufc.com. “That is the most important thing for me – that I’m allowed to play how I want.”

“He has different tactics and a different style, but we are all working together to push the club to the level where we want it to be,” Kudus concluded.

Kudus, 23, impressed in the 2023-24 season, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists in 45 appearances across all competitions for the Hammers.

Mo Kudus has been seriously linked to the Saudi Arabia League with a big money move but many expect the talented forward to stay with West ham for another season
