Asante Kotoko has made an official approach to Medeama SC in a bid to secure the services of left winger Osah Tetteh Bernadinho.
The 28-year-old, currently contracted with Medeama until 2026, has emerged as a top priority for the Porcupine Warriors as they seek to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.
Bernadinho, who joined Medeama from Atram De Visser in 2023, has quickly made a significant impact on the team.
His performances have caught the eye of Asante Kotoko, who are eager to add his talents to their lineup.
In addition to their pursuit of Bernadinho, Asante Kotoko has also expressed interest in Medeama’s midfielder Godfred Abban.
However, Medeama SC has yet to respond to this additional inquiry.
During the previous season, Bernadinho made 21 appearances for Medeama, contributing two goals.
His football journey has taken him across various clubs, including stints in Belgium with Westerlo, ASV Geel, and Heist, as well as playing for Great Olympics and Atlético Ottawa in Canada before his return to Ghana.
Asante Kotoko’s interest in Bernadinho signals their intent to strengthen their squad with experienced and versatile players as they prepare for the challenges of the upcoming season.
