Ghana head coach Otto Addo has announced 23 players for the 2025 AFCON to be played in Morocco.

The biggest news from Otto Addo’s squad naming is the absence of skipper Andre Ayew. The former Marseille and Swansea City forward missed Otto Addo’s last call up and has missed the latest one.

Abdul Salis Samed of RC Lens also misses out after he has been rumoured to be on his way to Sunderland.

Athletic Bilbao’s deputy skipper Inaki Williams has returned to the team after he missed out due to injury in June’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic.

Mohammed Kudus, Thomas Partey, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Antoine Semenyo are all included.

Monaco’s Salisu and Asante Kotoko’s goalkeeper, Fred Asare are also part of the team.

Ghana will host Angola and travel to play Niger in the two games they will play in the qualifiers for Morocco 2025.
