Aboubakar Ouattara is nearing the exit door and there’s no doubt about that. This is how the Ivorian tactician has performed statistically since joining Hearts of Oak on 11th february 2024 after Martin Koopman was sacked.

He has managed 19 matches for Hearts of Oak. 7 Wins, 3 draws and 9 defeats have been recorded. 22 goals have been scored, 22 goals have been conceded. Simply put, this is not the standard required at the Phobia headquarters.

Former Hearts of Oak bona fide dribbler, Mohammed Polo, has revealed that he will accept to return to the team as the new head coach if the opportunity arises.

“I will gladly accept to return to Phobia if given the chance”, Polo said in an interview on AP Sports with Joseph Osei Bonsu, the Sports President.

Ouattara’s sacking is just near the corner if performance doesn’t improve. This forced Sports President to ask of the legendary Mohammed Polo’s readiness to return to football coaching especially to his beloved Phobia.

Alhaji Mohammed Polo has served as the head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak on two seperate occasions. His first stint was between 1994-1995. The second spell was in 2013-14 season.

Will it be possiboe for the former Black stars forward to enjoy his third stint? Only time will tell.
