Ghana Premier League: Otto Addo thinks the performance in general is going up

Otto Addo, the head coach of Ghana Black Stars was in attendance at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon to watch Medeama defeat Legon Cities 1-0 in Week 2 of the the GPL.

Otto Addo on his scouting mission was impressed with the performance the two teams put up.

Speaking to the media after the game, the tactician said, “This is my first season [observing the league closely]. At the end of the last season, I watched a little bit of videos; it was okay in general.

“I think it’s picking up, it’s getting more interesting, and we have to see. I think it’s early; it’s now early [to make an assessment]. Let’s watch the season and see how the players perform. I think the performance, in general, is going up. When I compare it to two years ago, it has improved”, Addo concluded.

The head coach thinks Ghana Premeir League has improved in twema of player performances compared to last season.

Otto Addo is scouting for players for the Black Stars from the Ghana Premier League and he plans to tour the entire nation.
