Nsoatreman’s dream of progressing to the Money Zone of the CAF Confederation Cup was finally ended by Algerian side Constantine.
The Algerians took the lead in the 17th minute through Ben Shaa’s strike.
Constantine was the overwhelming favourites in the tie after triumphing 2-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg.
The 17th minute goal conceded by Yaw Preko’s Nsoatreman was not the start they planned for because they knew the fixture would be over the moment they concede the first goal.
Ghanaians thought the second leg was going to be a mere exercise for Constantine but Nsoatreman made sure they were never going to be massacred by defending pretty well and keeping their shape impeccably.
Constantine progresses to the Money Zone of the CAF Confederation Cup after winning 3-0 on aggregate against the Ghanaian minnows.
