New trophy unveiled for 2024/2025 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League season

In anticipation of the 2024/2025 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League, a striking new trophy was revealed at a special event hosted at the Ghana Football Association’s headquarters in Accra.

The trophy, designed locally, prominently features a “W” symbol to represent women’s football. Its intricate golden embellishments are a testament to the strength, hope, and ongoing development of women’s football in Ghana.

The unveiling ceremony was a memorable moment, with former players, including Fafali Dumehasi and Romanatu Tahiru, along with athletes from the Immigration, Prisons, Army, and Police Service, proudly parading the trophy to the stage.

Their presence added to the excitement and admiration from stakeholders in attendance.

The 2024/2025 season is set to begin between October 18th and 21st, with matches scheduled across the Northern and Southern Zones.
