CAF Young Player of the Year 2024: Abdul Aziz, Carlos Baleba, Lamine Camara nominted for award

Ghanaian young forward who has moved to Barcelona from Dreams FC has been shortlisted for the coveted CAF Young Player of the Year Award. Aziz dazzled for Dreams FC in their trip to the semi-finals of the 2023-24 CAF Confederation Cup.

Senegalesse youngster, Lamine Camara, who plays for AS Monaco has been shortlisted.

Moroccan duo Bilal El Khannous of Leicester City and Ben Seghir of AS Monacco are shortlised also.

Ivorian stars Karim Konate (Salzburg) and Ounar Diakite of Stade de Reims who were part of the 2023 AFCON winning team are listed as well.

Cameroonian midfielder Carlos Beleba shortlisted after an incredible debut season for Brighton and Hove Albion in England.

Brighton and Hove Albion winger Yankubah Minteh is shortlisted. The young Gambian winger played key role in Feyenoord’s win of the Dutch Eridivisie title last season.

Senegal and Slavia Praha’s young defender El Hadji Malik Diouf is part of the list.

Tunisia and Esperance goalkeeper Amanallah Memmiche, completes the list. He was superb in Esperance’s trip to the finals of the CAF Champions League where they lost 1-0 on aggregate to Al Ahly.
