Asante Kotoko’s 2-1 defeat by Legon Cities was very shocking as the club did not expect the lowly Royals to beat them.
Porcupine Warriors suffered their first defeat of the season with Rahim Yaya Abdul snatching the winner in the 93rd minute for Paa Kwesi Fabian’s side.
The defeat led to many fans throwing objects to the University of Ghana’s pitch, booing the head coach and the playing body with some of the fans stepping on the pitch.
It led to a mini fracas against some of the staff members of Legon Cities.
On Friday, GFA released a statement charging Asante Kotok with a breach of Section 16(2) of the GFA Disciplinary Code 2019.
Fabulous has until Tuesday , November 5th, 2024, to respond to the charges.
