GPL Week 32 preview: Hearts of Oak welcome Nations FC to Accra

Exactly a week today, Phobia fans were talking of Ouattara’s sacking. Things were not right for the club because they were just two points above relegation zone heading into the game against Medeama in Tarkwa. Phobia won 2-0 to move away from the relegation zone.

In week 10 of the GPL, Hearts of Oak commenced the matchday with a narrow 1-0 win over Vision FC at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon.

Mawuli Wayo’s solitary strike sent Accra hrarts of Oak into the top 4. The Phobians surprisingly trail league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars by just 4 points and are on the same points with third placed side, Asante Kotoko.

The former Bibiani Gold Stars forward’s second half goal made the difference.

Hearts of Oak fans will be extremely happy as the team has won back-to-back games in the GPL since March 2024.

Vision remains 11th on the log. They will host Dreams FC in their next game while Accra Hearts of Oak travel to Karela.
