Asante Kotoko’s slump continued at Bechem with Fabulous losing1-0 against Bechem United.

It was surprisingly, the third defeat in the last four GPL games for the Porcupine Warriors. In fact, the club has lost the last three games against Legon Cities, Heart of Lions and Bechem United.

The fans of the club have started demanding for improvement and have urged Prosper Ogum and his lads to win the next fixture against the in-form Nations FC at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

Speaking after the game, Prosper informed the fans to expect the team bouncing back to winning ways soon.

“Be patient with us, we shall bounce back” Narteh Ogum said.

Asante Kotoko was unbeaten in the first 7 games of the season helping them to sit comfortably in second place on the log. The slump has sent the club to 5th position with perennial rivals Accra Hearts of Oak even sitting a place above the Porcupine Warriors.

Kotoko’s free fall is very unbelievable because no one saw it coming within the one-third stage of the season.

Prosper Ogum must start turning things around in week 11. The next fixture against Dr Kwame Kyei’s Nations FC can make or break Ogum.

Fabulous Asante Kotoko are 5 points behind league leaders, Bibiani Gold Stars. Their next three games are agianst Nations FC (Home), Aduana (Away) and Hearts of Oak (Home).
