Ghanaian dancer Samuel Awuku, better known by his stage name The Boy Phace, has shared a story of how he quit football to pursue a career in dance.
Despite having other dance-loving relatives, The Boy Phace claimed to have grown up playing football.
In an exclusive interview on Kapital Xpress, a popular weekend entertainment show on Kapital Radio, Boy Phace disclosed that he found himself dancing on the football field rather than focusing on the ball, so he gave up football and pursued his passion.
“I’m not the only dancer in our family. I have 3 paternal brothers who are also dancers. I used to be a footballer but I quit football to become a dancer because I was always dancing on the field,” he told host, Scandy.
