It was rumoured that the newly promoted club, Young Apostles have parted ways with Asare Bediako, the head coach of the club.

The club quickly denied it but the P.R.O has confirmed the head coach’s decision to leave his role. He stated there was no real reason why he resigned from the club.

“It’s a personal reason, that’s what he said”, Alhaji Salia Efiewura revealed when quizzed on Asare Bediako’s reason for quitting the role.

“We have no option but to look for a replacement. Life must continue for Apostles with or without Asare Bediako”, the P.R.O. told the Sports President.

After 180 games played, and 10 weeks of action, the first managerial casualty has been confirmed by the Wench based club.
Asare Bediako won two games, lost 4 and drew 4, scoring 6 goals and conceding 4.

The club has won 10 points from available 30 and sits 14th on the league log with just two points above the relegation zone.
It remains unknown the possible candidate for the job.

Young Apostle’s dream is to remain in the league and they will need to appoint someone who understands the terrain and can help them avoid relegation.

Young Apostles drew goalless at home against league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars in week 10 of the GPL and it was Asare Bediako’s last game for the club.
