Per SkySports report, Leicester City have made an offer to former PSV Eindhoven and Manchester United boss, Ruud Van Nistelrooy.

The Foxes sacked their manager, Steve Cooper, after the 2-1 defeat to Chelsea in the Premier League last Saturday.

Leicester City has been in immense trouble throughout the season and needed to act to save their season. Cooper replaced Enzo Maresca after the Italian manager left the Foxes for Chelsea.

The former Swansea City and Nottingham Forest boss, Steve Cooper, could not satisfy the wish of Leicester City hierarchy forcing them to sack him.

The club has put an offer on the table for Ruud Van Nistelrooy to become their new manager, and the good news is that he is expected to accept the offer.

Van Nistelrooy left Manchester United after an interim managerial role when Erik ten Hag was sacked. The former United top striker won three games and drew one in the four played.

He is expected to help the club remain in the league.
