The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has released its schedule for media briefings ahead of the 2024 general elections.

These sessions are designed to provide timely updates on the commission’s preparations and progress during the electoral process.

The EC disclosed that the first briefing will take place at its headquarters in Accra on December 6, 2024.

Subsequent briefings are planned daily until the elections conclude, offering journalists, stakeholders, and the general public insights into key developments, voter turnout, and any challenges encountered.

According to the EC, these briefings aim to enhance transparency and ensure stakeholders remain informed throughout the electoral period.

Accredited media personnel have been invited to participate, with provisions for live broadcasts to expand access to vital updates nationwide.
