Many predicted Aboubakar Ouattara as the coach to be sacked first in the 2024-25 season.

Others, after week five, predicted Yaw Joachim Acheampong, the head coach of Aduana Stars, to be the first coach to lose his job.

None of these two bold predictions materialized as Young Apostles’ Asare Bediako became the first coach to lose his job.

The second manager was Aduana Stars’ Yaw Acheampong after losing 2-0 at home to rivals Kotoko.

After round 12, the Ogya Boys have won just 12 points from a possible 36. The club won just two games, drew six and lost four during Yaw Acheampong’s reign.

Aduana Stars scored only 10 goals and conceded 13 under Yaw Acheampong. This is how horrible the club was before they decided to sack the coach.

The Ogya Boys needed to find a new coach heading into the two-thirds stage of the season. On Tuesday afternoon, the club confirmed the appointment of Romanian gaffer Ciobra Aristica as the man to help them revive their season.

The club announced via their X wall, “CIOABA IS BACK!

“Coach Cioba Aristica has arrived!
Unveiling soon as the new gaffer of Aduana FC!”.

It will be the Romanians second stint at the club. The gaffer is tasked with helping the club finish higher up the table and also bring the fear factor back.

Aduana Stars will make a short trip to Berekum from Dormaa-Ahenkro to face Berekum Chelsea on Sunday afternoon at Golden City Park. Aristica Cioaba is expected to be on the bench for the Ogya Boys
