No one can deny how supportive the Ghanaian government has been to Black Stars since the turn of the new millennium.

The governments headed by John Agyekum Kuffuor, Professor Atta Mills, John Dramani Mahama and Nana Akufo Addo Dankwa have all supported financially the team.

Cash has flowed in the team as every Ghanaian can testify. On Wednesday on AP Sports, Mr. Abbey Pobee disclosed to the Sports President that Ghana has spent $500m on only the Black Stars.

“Government has spent $500m on Black Stars”. We keep on spending much money on the team at the expense of some poor Ghanaians sharing the same water with cows”, Mr Pobee said.

The former football administrator was furious with how things were being run in the country.

On Otto Addo, Mr Pobee said, No one should sack Otto Addo. He is not the problem. The GFA president, Kurt Okraku, is the problem. He has appointed four coaches recently and they have all been disastrous.

C.K Akunnor, Milovan Rajevech, Chris Houghton and Otto Addo have been appointed under Kurt’s administration, but all have failed to satisfy Ghanaian’s desire to see the stars shine.

Ghanaian football has been in a mess for the last 4 years and authorities must sit up and find solutions to it.
