Black Stars winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has undergone a very successful surgery in the United Kingdom. The Leicester City star forward suffered an injury while on the November International break with Ghana. He left the Black Stars camp for Leicester City to take care of him.

Although Fatawu will miss the rest of the season, which is very disappointing, he expressed his delightfulness in the success of his surgery.

“Alhamdulilai, all glory be to Almighty Allah. My Surgery was successful, and I just want to tell you that I am okay and feeling good after the surgery.

“I want to thank everyone for your best wishes,”, The Ghanaian youngster wrote on social media after the surgery.

Fatawu Issahaku is in his second season with the Fixes after helping them secure an immediate return to the Premier League in the current season.

His absence is a big blow for Steve Cooper’s Foxes in their battle to remain in the league because he is an integral part of the team.

“It’s not good, it’s a serious injury. He’s had an ACL injury which is going to rule him out for the rest of the season. It’s a real blow, first and foremost for him,” said Steve Copper, manager of Leicester City ahead of the game against Chelsea.
