Imagine these two venues could be repaired and return to a very good shape within two weeks and NSA watched the nation being disgraced.

It is the true definition of incompetence and irresponsibility. Ghana has already suffered the humiliation the world over and there should be punishment for those who are in charge of the venues.

National Sports Authority Board Chairman, Seth Panwum has revealed that the Accra Sports Stadium and Cape Coast Sports Stadium are fully ready to host the Black Stars against Sudan in October’s crucial 2025 AFCON qualifers.

Soon after the Angola game in Kumasi, CAF added Ghana to the long list of countries that do not have venues that meet their standard. It made Ghanaians very angry causing Numekevor, the NSA boss to lose his job.

Ghana will play a home game outside the country for the first time in its history if the two venues do not meet CAF’s standard.

CAF will visit the country for inspection next week and they will expect Ghana to have quality pitch to welcome Sudan.

Ghana v Sudan’s game will be all or nothing for both teams because it is very likely they will fight for a single slot. Angola are run away leaders and will need just a win and a draw against Niger in the two games to secure their place in Morocco 2025.
