Starting from Sunday, 22nd June 2025, until at least four months, the Accra-Madina Highway will be reduced from four lanes to three, announced the Ghana Highway Authority.

As part of the expansion of the Tema Motorway, construction works are expected to be carried out at the Tetteh Quarshie Interchange very soon.

The Ghana Highway Authority did not announce the exact date for the construction work to be completed, but hinted that it will last at least four months.

People have been calling for work on the Tema Motorway, and the Ghana Highway Authority is ready to deliver the wishes of the people.
