Aduana Stars are winless in the opening five games of the season. At the end of last season, the Ogya Boys didn’t win any of their last 3 games. In total, it’s 8 games without a win for the club spanning from last season.

“We are working tirelessly to turn things around”, said Yaw Acheampong, coach of the club after the goalless draw with Hearts of Oak at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon.

Aduana has won just 3 points from the possible 15. It is very unacceptable but Joachim Yaw Acheampong, the head coach of the Dormaa-Ahenkro club has expressed his optimism for turning things around.

“We have a young team, and many of the players have never played in the Premier League or under floodlights before. It will take time, but we’ve played five games, and the gap is not too big, so we still have to push,” he stated.

Aduana has been one of the few clubs that normally have veteran players but in the 2024-25 season, the ‘Fire Boys’ have many talented young boys and the head coach believe they will push hard to turn things around. The inexperience in the team is indeed affecting them.

Aduana Stars will host the disastrous Dreams FC at the Nana Agyeman Badu Stadium in Dormaa Ahenkro on Sunday in week 6 and will have to fight for first win of the season.
