According to CAF, the 2025 AFCON in Morocco is expected to surpass every record set by the previous tournament in Ivory Coast.
Morocco is now the haven of African football as almost every competition is hosted there. The 2025 AFCON qualifiers ended in November 2024 with the draw set to take place in January 2025.
The much-anticipated competition is exactly a year before kick-off. It will be the first time the tournament will be played between two separate years. December 21st 2025 and January 18th 2026 are the dates set for the competition.
