CAF has released the list for the coaches who have performed extremely well in the year under review.

The list includes former Ghana head coach, James Kwesi Appiah, who needs just one point from two games to surprisingly qualify Sudan ahead of Ghana for the 2025 AFCON.

Sudan has been suffering due to the ongoing civil war in the cointry but Kwesi Appiah has surprisingly organised the national team and are doing great things.

The Falcons of Jediane unbelievably tops Group B of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers ahead of Senegal, DR Congo and Togo. The Eastern Africans have won 10 points from 4 games and sits two points ahead of second placed Senegal.

Kwesi Appiah’s leadership in Sudan is very positive as the national team is transformed.

He is in a competition with many good coaches for the award.

Al Ahly head coach Marcel Koller, Jose Gomes (Zamalek) , Emerse Fae (Ivory Coast), Pedro Goncalves (Angola), Brahima Traore (Burkina Faso), Sebastien Desabre (DR Congo), Chiquindo Conde (Mozambique), Hugo Broos (South Africa) and Florent Ibenge (Al Hilal Oumdurman) are all included.

The list includes three club coaches and 7 national team managers.
