Antoine Semenyo’s fine start to the season continued with an unbelievable performance against Fulham in Bournemouth’s 3-1 win at the Vitality Stadium.

In a pulsating Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium, Antoine Semenyo stole the spotlight with a commanding second-half performance that turned the tide for AFC Bournemouth.

After a goalless first half, Fulham took the lead in the 70th minute through Ryan Sessegnon.

But Semenyo responded with flair and precision, equalising just eight minutes later with a brilliant solo goal, threading the ball through Bernd Leno’s legs from a tight angle.

The Ghanaian forward wasn’t done. Moments after his equaliser, Semenyo turned provider, setting up Justin Kluivert for a thunderous strike that gave Bournemouth the lead.

His vision and timing were impeccable, showcasing not just his scoring ability but his growing influence in build-up play.

Then, deep into stoppage time, Semenyo capped off the night with a composed finish on the counterattack, sealing his brace and Bournemouth’s victory.

Manager Andoni Iraola praised Semenyo’s development, calling him a player “growing every season” and highlighting his confidence and versatility.

With six goals and three assists in seven league appearances, Semenyo is now one of the most productive forwards in the Premier League. His form has helped propel Bournemouth to fourth place on the table, just behind Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur and has earned him widespread acclaim from fans and pundits alike across the globe.

Semenyo himself described the team as a “great environment to be a part of,” reflecting on his goals with humility and tactical insight.

He explained that his first goal came from instinct and quick decision-making, while the second required calmness and teamwork.

With his current form, Semenyo is expected to turn things around regarding his struggles for Black Stars and play a pivotal role in Ghana’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers against the Central African Republic and Comoros, where Ghana needs at least four points.
