Antoine Semenyo has started the season on a brighter note after scoring two Goals and providing one assist in three games in the new season for AFC Bournemouth.
The forward has been voted for as Bournemouth’s Player of the Month of August.
The 24-year-old scored an 86th minute equaliser for Bournemouth in the 1-1 draw against Nothingham Forest in Week One of the EPL after Chris Wood had put the home team in front in the 23rd minute.
In Week 2 at home against Newcastle, the former Bristol City forward assisted Marcus Tavernier to put the Cheries in front in the first half. Antony Gordon equalised in the second half to help Newcastle secure a 1-1 draw at the Vitality Stadium.
Semenyo kick started Bournemouth’s impressive come back against Everton in their third game of the season. Everton via Michael Keane and Dominic Calvert-Lewin took a commanding 2-0 lead at the Goodison Park.
Semenyo reduced the deficit after connecting Ouattara Dango’s beautiful cross. Lewis Cook (92) and Luis Sinistera (96) scored in the 3-2 win to stun the Everton crowd.
Antoine Semenyo is so far leading Bournemouth’s atrack extremely well as expected after the departure of Dominic Solanke in the transfer window.
Chelsea will travel to Bournemouthuth on Saturday night with the Ghanaian forward expected to continue his impressive form.
