German forward Kai Havertz is set to miss the rest of the season for Arsenal after suffering a hamstring injury in Dubai.

Kai Havert will miss every day of the rest of the season after the club confirmed. His injury is set to put Arsenal in a tight corner after he became the only fully fit forward who Ateta trusts for the number 9 role.

The North London club who are seven points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool are already missing Gabriel Jesus who has suffered anterior cruciate ligament and Bukayo Saka who has been missing in action since December due to hamstring injury.

Arsenal has been in Dubai for warm-weather training since last Thursday after being eliminated in the two domestic cup competitions.

Kai Havertz’s injury is a big blow to Arteta in his bid to challenge Liverpool for the league title. Raheem Sterling, Leandro Trossard are the only senior attackers left now for Arsenal. Youngster Ethan Nwaneri is another option for Arteta in his attack.

The club is planning to make an emergency signing for the rest of the season.
