Thomas Partey missed Ghana’s crucial games against Sudan in the matchday 3 and 4 of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers to be hosted by Morocco.
Arsenal revealed that the Ghanaian midfielder is injured and therefore was not ready to represent Ghana in October’s games.
Many thought he was going to miss in action for a long period but soon after the international break, Arsenal has confirmed that Thomas Partey is fylly fit and ready to face Bournemouth on Saturday evening.
The Gunners travels to the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth to face FC Bournemouth in week 8 of the English Premeir League with Thomas Partey set to start.
“Thomas is fit, yes,” Mikel Arteta said when quizzed by the press on Partey’s injury situation ahead of Saturday’s clash in Bournemouth.
Ghanaians are wondering what exactly is the problem with Partey for rejecting Ghana’s call up.
Ghana drew goalless against Sudan in Accra on MD3 and lost 2-0 in MD4 at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in Libya.
