Two robbers were killed, and two others were apprehended following the robbery and murder of a man in the Ashanti Region.
The deceased was a 50-year-old man named Emmanuel Kwadwo Obeng. The thieves assaulted Mr. Obeng at 2:00 AM. On June 17, 2025, in the village of Maame Ama, located close to Nsokote.
He was shot in the chest and died immediately. The residents of Appiahkrom and Nsokote learned about the crime and felt a strong sense of anger.
They apprehended two of the robbers, killed them, and handed the other two over to the police.
Authorities report that the two men who were arrested are currently in custody and will be brought to court. The remains of the two deceased robbers have been transported to the hospital.
