Per Kessben Sports, Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to move from Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi to the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese as their home venue for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

The Porcupine Warriors are set to ditch their favorite Baba Yara Sports Stadium due to exorbitant charges by the National Sports Authority (NSA).

NSA have been hiring out Baba Yara and the Accra Sports Stadium for Musical concerts and Church programmes to generate money to maintain the venue.

They have revealed that monies getting from the clubs are not enough to maintain the venues forcing them to hire it for non-sporting events.

The clubs have also been complaining of getting nothing from matchday revenues because the NSA takes almost all that they get from gate fees.

Asante Kotoko will switch to Abrankese with many Fabolous fans feeling that the time is up for them to have their own venues.
