Asante Kotoko’s promising young talent, Bernard Somuah, is on the brink of joining Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo, according to reports from Ghanaian media.

The 18-year-old winger, who impressed during his trial with Asante Kotoko ahead of last season, made a significant impact in his debut season with the club.

His performances earned him a call-up to the Ghana U-20 national team.

Ghanaian journalist Godfred Akoto Boafo reveals that Celta Vigo has taken notice of Somuah’s standout performances since his arrival in Kumasi.

The Spanish club is poised to secure his services in the coming days. However, it remains unclear whether the move will involve any further trials.

Before his stint with Asante Kotoko, Somuah showcased his talent with Afigya Liberty in the lower-tier league, where he scored an impressive 22 goals.

During pre-season with the Porcupine Warriors, he continued to demonstrate his scoring ability, including goals against Bibiani Goldstars and in a notable performance against Hearts of Oak.
