Awaso Stem Senior High School: Matron and cook arrested for stealing foodstuff meant for students

The Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai Police Command has apprehended Nyamadi Benedicta, the matron and a cook at Awaso STEM Senior High School in the Western Region, for theft of food items intended for the school.

It is reported that they moved significant amounts of food to a private home in Atronsu.

Reports indicate that, following information from the Municipal Chief Executive, Sebastian Obeng, the police apprehended two individuals accused of stealing various items.

These items include bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil, tins of tomatoes, boxes of milk, a bag of sugar, and amounts of maize, millet, gari, and other essential food products.

The items have been collected, and the suspects are currently in custody as the investigation proceeds.
