Ex-military personel,  Capt. (rtd) Prince Kofi Amoaben has noticed that personnel politics and religion are detrimental to the growth of the Ghana Armed Forces and the country at large.

Though Ghanaians are living as peace-loving people without any civil war, Capt (rtd) Amoabeng, therefore credited this to freedom of Association and free speech in the Army.

“The only good thing that has come out from this is that there is no coup. No coup because the Army has been politicized and therefore the heads are NPP.
