“After returning from Ghana to sort out the bureaucratic issues that prevented them from playing for the reserve team both David Oduro and Aziz Issah now have the green light to make their official debuts this weekend”, Sergi Capdevilla, a Barcelona journalist who works for Sport confirmed.

Ghanaian duo David Oduro and Abdul Aziz Issah moved to Barcelona in the 2024 summer transfer window after passing trials with the Catalan club from Dreams FC and Accra Lions respectively.

Aziz Issah was a star in Dreams’ sensational journey to the semi-finals of the 2023-24 CAF Confederation Cup catching the attention of the world.

David Oduro had an unsuccessful trials at Chelsea earlier in 2024 and returned to Accra Lions. Barcelona showed interest in the left-back and he subsequently moved to thr Spanish side.

The duo has been given the green light and can now compete competitively gor Barcelona’s youth after enjoy training session for more than a month for the club.
