Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Osman made his long-awaited debut for Feyenoord during their Eredivisie clash with FC Groningen on Saturday, September 14, 2024.

Osman, who joined the Dutch club on loan from Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion, finally featured after a delay caused by paperwork issues.

Coming on as a substitute for Bart Nieuwkoop in the 60th minute, Osman made an immediate impact, displaying his speed and agility on the flanks.

His lively performance impressed fans and coaches alike during his first appearance for Feyenoord.

Despite Feyenoord’s strong start, with a first-half own goal by Thom Van Bergen and a second from Igor Paixao putting them 2-0 ahead, the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

Groningen’s Brynjolfur Willumsson Andersen scored two late goals to salvage a point for the home side.

Osman, who joined Brighton this summer from FC Nordsjaelland, is expected to gain valuable experience with regular game time at Feyenoord before returning to the Premier League next season.
