Per multiple reports in the Ghanaian media, former Black Stars winger Laryea Kingston could be the next Black Stars Coach.

Head coach Otto Addo has been under immense pressure after failing to win any of the four games in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

The GFA will act after the disaster in Libya against Sudan but no one knows whether Otto Addo will be sacked or will remain at post.

If Ghana Football Association decides to let go Coach Otto Addo, they will consider hiring Laryea Kingston as the next head coach for the Black Stars.

Laryea Kingston, 43, coached Ghana’s U17 in the WAFU Zone B 2024 championship in Accra and resigned citing an unhealthy environment around the team.

However, Otto Addo may include him as part of the technical team if he continues as the head coach of the Black Stars.

Currently, Laryea Kingston is working in the USA as talent development coach in multi-sport academies located in Saint Lucia, Florida.

Laryea Kingston has a UEFA & FIFA coaching licenses.
