Daniel Dubois recently became the new king in British Boxing after he shockingly shocked Anthony Joshua in the 5th round in September 2024 by knocking the experienced British boxer out.
Speaking ahead of Saturday night’s big bout at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the 27-year-old Daniel Dubois predicted another win for the undefeated Ukrainian boxer.
“Something in my heart tells me Usyk will pull it off again,” Dubois said only hours after landing in the city. “As a fellow Brit, I want Tyson to win because of everything he has done in the game. You have to respect that. But something is telling me that Usyk is going to do it again. Usyk just has luck on his side and he has skills. He has the backing of his people and is fighting for his country”, Daniel Dubois disclosed.
In August 2023, the young Dubois faced the Ukrainian boxer where he was stopped in the 9th round after hurting the Ukrainian earlier on in round 5. Oleksandr Usyk was given an incredible four minutes to recover after a punch on the beltline was ruled as a low blow. The young man certainly knows what it takes to deal with Usyk probably than Fury.
The Ukranian defeated Fury in the first unification bout since 2000 in May 2024. Fury-Usyk 2 is scheduled to take place on Saturday night at the Kingdom Arena.
