C.E.O of KATH – No new project until we complete the abandoned ones

The Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi has numerous abandoned projects that require urgent attention.

It has become a new norm that when a new project commences, the old one is abandoned, leading to the hospital always in need of help.

The Chief Executive Officer of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Dr Paa Kwesi Baidoo, on Thursday disclosed that the practice of abandoning old projects will be a thing of the past, speaking at a consultative forum in Kumasi with the hospital’s management.

“When you go to the hospital, many projects have been abandoned. As management, and for me as CEO, I have resolved that we are not starting any new project until we complete the abandoned ones,” Dr Baidoo disclosed.

The C.E.O however, assured Ghanaians that most of the abandoned projects will be completed because His Excellency John Dramani Mahama is willing to do so.

“But as the CEO, I have resolved that we will complete most of these projects,” Baidoo said.
