CAF says Enough is Enough!! The football governing body has had enough with the incompetent Ghana.

It was coming, it was very clear that the venue was not up to the standard required for any football game. Not even primary schools football competitions should be allowed to be played on that ugly and indescribable pitch.

The incompetentencies among Ghanaian leadership is insane. How can the entire nation complained bitterly about an ordinary pitches for football for almost 5 years and no one seems to care?

Why should a country that has participated in 4 World Cups be in this mess?

World Cup has benefited Ghana financially more than 100 million IS Dollars. Why is the nation struggling to afford a Grade A pitch?

On Wednesday morning, CAF announced that no venue in Ghana qualifes to host any of their competitions hence Ghana must look for a place outside the country.

Ahead of the matchday 1 of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, the pitch at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium was so horrible forcing many Ghanaians to complaint bitterly. The game went ahead with Angola winning 1-0.

Their head coach complained bitterly and it was there that I knew something was going to happen.

CAF cites an uneven playing surface and also revealed that the playing field had deteriorated significantly with poor drainage system and inadequate grass cover. These issues have also been noted at the Cape Coast Stadium an d Accra Sports Stadium hence CAF has decided to force Ghana look for a place for next month’s Sudan clash.

It’s likely Ghana will choose Ivory Coast as the venue for the Sudan game.
