2025 will start with round four of the CAF Champions League group stages on Friday night. Defending champions Al Ahly will travel to Algiers to face CR Belouizdad. The Algerians will have the opportunity to at least put a smile on the faces of their fans with any win after the embarrassing 6-1 defeat in Cairo against the Red Devils.
On Saturday in Dar es Salam, Young Africans will seek their first win of the competition when they host TP Mazembe of DR Congo. Orlando Pirates will host Stade Abidjan, as a defeat for the Ivorians will almost end their chances of progressing to the quarter-finals.
In Morocco, FAR will face Maniema, while Raja Casablanca will lock horns against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 4th round will end on Sunday when Pyramids in Cairo entertains Esperance from Tunisia.
Sagrada in Angola hosts Malian minnows Djoliba. The in-form Al Hilal in Nouakchott will seek at least a point against MC Alger to qualify for the quarter-finals.
