Asante Kotoko defeated Kwara United 4-3 in an epic fashion at the Accra Sports Stadium in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The tie is still open with both sides optimistic that they will book a place in the final round of the play-off.

Ahead of the second leg in Nigeria, the head coach of the Porcupine Warriors, Abdul-Karim Zito, has announced a 20-man squad for the trip.

The squad is headlined by skipper Samba O’Neil, whose leadership is needed now than ever. Albwrt Amoah is in the list alongside Fuseini Walid Neymar, Mohammed Camara, Lord Amoah, Lord Hilary Adabo and Patrick Asiedu.
