TotalEnergies has been the main sponsor of CAF in recent years, sponsoring all major CAF-organised competitions.

CAF has excitedly revealed that a new $375 million deal with TotalEnergies for 3 years has been agreed.

TotalEnergies will be the main sponsors of twelve different events and competitions, including the AFCON 2025 and WAFCON 2024, which will be played in June 2025.

CAF President Patrice Motsepe secured the deal, which is far bigger and more lucrative than the previous one.

CAF and TotalEnergies’ previous deal was worth $250 million for 8 years. Patrice Motsepe is being praised the continent over for this wonderful groundbreaking deal.

African football reached a new height during and after the wonderful 2023 AFCON played in Ivory Coast in 2024. The competition stole the attention of the world with its unique organisation and beauty.
