A 45-year-old man has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service after butchering a woman for refusing to have sex with him.
The victim, a 50-year-old, is believed to have boldly told the perpetrator that she was not interested in his request for sex at the Gomoa Dominase Onion Market in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
The suspect is said to have strangled the deceased after she reportedly denied his request for intimacy.
The deceased was on her way to purchase fresh cow milk from a nearby ranch when the incident happened.
No further information has been released about the case by the Ghana Police Service as they continue the investigation.
The families of the murderer and the deceased have yet to provide information to the general public to what exactly led to the demise of Habiba.
