The 8th edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) is scheduling to bw played between 1st-28th February 2025.

The tournament will be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda in East Africa.

Preparations are underway by CAF and the national teams all over the continent.

On Monday morning, the ruling body of African football, CAF, released the list of main referees and assistant referees for the competition.

A total of 65 officials have been selected for all the officiating roles.

25 first referees have been chosen, 22 are assistant referees, 12 are CAF Staff and 7 are selected for VAR duties.

One Ghanaian official was selected by CAF and he is to serve as an assistant referee.

Addy Roland Nii Dodoo is well known for his role mostly as 2nd assistant referee in CAF games.

The Ghanaian referee has assisted in high profile competitions like the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup, AFCON qualifiers and CAF Women’s Champions League.
