Chef Faila clocks day 7 of cook-a-thon

The seventh day of Ghanaian chef Abdul-Razak Failatu's bid to set a Guinness World Record cook-a-thon has begun in Tamale, in the Northern Region.

The seventh day of Ghanaian chef Abdul-Razak Failatu’s bid to set a Guinness World Record cook-a-thon has begun in Tamale, in the Northern Region.

On New Year’s Eve 2024, Chef Failatu set out to accomplish the longest cooking marathon ever by one person.

She wants to beat Irish chef Alan Fisher’s record of 119 hours and 57 minutes for the longest cook-a-thon by cooking for an incredible 120 hours.

She is cooking from the Modern City Hotel in Tamale.
