Aboubakar Ouattara should at least be giving Hearts of Oak fans hope as he has been with the team for a while.

Phobia still play like a side without a coach, honestly. The Ivorian head coach’s comments ahead of the season about Hearts of Oak was unacceptable. “Our target for the 2024-25 season is to avoid relegation”, said Ouattara when quizzed on his target for the new season.

Hearts of Oak had a pre-season in Togo. Fans had been waiting to see how they will play in the new season. The season commenced just last weekend with Phobia losing 1-0 at their favorite Accra Sports Stadium to new boys, Basake Holy Stars.

The scoreline angered the fans with many calling for Ouattara’s sacking. There has been rumors that he will be fired if he did not improve in Hearts of Oak’s first 5 games of the season.

The management of the board on Wednesday denied ever giving the coach 5 games ultimatum.

“Coach Ouattara deserves our support”, Hearts of Oak management revealed.

Phobia travels to Kpando to face Bashir Hayford’s Heart of Lions on Sunday. A defeat will cause confusion in the team.
